proFACE[complete] (US$5,995) includes all the features you will find in
proFACE[voice], proFACE[video], and proFACE[mocap]. It provides an
intuitive interface for animating faces using either voice (by importing
an .WAV file), video (by converting your camcorder into a facial motion
system), and Motion Capture (accepts Motion Analysis and Vicon MoCap
data, and includes a 2D and 3D data input API) as an input.
You may also order an evaluation version of proFACE. The evaluation kit
includes a 30 day time-locked version (protected by a hardware dongle)
which will allow you to run everything. Evaluate it now!
proFACE is a standalone program that works with Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000
/XP which works seamlessly with the latest versions of 3dsMAX, Maya,
SoftImage and Lightwave, enabling you to use specialized animation tools
with your existing polygonal or Nurbs models. proFACE may be launched
from within your favorite animation package, allowing facial animation
to be integrated into a larger scene for final rendering.
The key to the usability of proFACE? is the "Clustering" process which
allows intuitive 3D painting of the mesh to define areas of the face that
may be moved independently and blended to create complex expressions.
Individual Clusters or whole target poses may be driven by separate
motion channels.
