We’vebeenworkingonaconceptforthisinstrumentforawhileandwe’vebeen
toldoverandoveragainthatitcouldn’tbeconvertedtothekeyboardina
sensibleway,becauseoftheuniquewaytheHurdyGurdycreatesdrones,rhythms
andlegatomelodyallatonce.Butwepersistedandfeellikeweprevailed.

It’sbeenastruggletosearchforrealism,usercomfort,efficiencyand
playability.Butthe“Sonokinetic-Hurdy-Gurdy-formulaR”wecameupwithis
quiteintuitive.Itpushesthelimitsofsamplersbutstillworkswithinthe
safeboundariesofthosededicatedsamplingplatforms.
